今天刚看了Bones Season 4的第14集。喜欢看这一部Series其中一个原因就是因为在每一集的结尾，都会有一段对话，概括了整集的意义。下面是主角Temperance Brennan在这一集的片尾台词。

Brennan: when i see a fact that i unable to determine the cause, my faith in reason and consequences   are shaking
Booth: then?
Brennan: two plus two equals to four
i put sugar in the coffee and it tastes sweet
the sun comes out because the world turns
these things are beautiful to me
there are mistery that i'll never understand
but everywhere i look, i see proof that, for every fact there is a corresponding cause even if i can't see it
i find that reassuring

Brennan: 当我遇上解决不了的事实时，我关于因果缘由的信仰就会动摇
Booth: 然后呢？
Brennan: 二加二等于四
咖啡加点糖，喝起来就甜了
太阳照常升起，因为地球照常转动
这些小事实，在我看来再美好不过
这世上一定有我永远领会不了的谜题
但我放眼望去，都能见到证据
时刻证明着，任何结果都有相应的缘由
这就足以让我安心了

当时Temperance问起了Booth在调查了那集的案子后是否对神的信心动摇。在片中她的角色是一位无神论者，理智主义者，所以她发表了以上的台词。

为什么我会想要把这段放上这里呢？其实，在这当中我们也可以反思当我们的信仰动摇时。

then?
trees grow even without gardener
birds live without worrying
sun shines without error
earth turns without hesitating
air are flowing, providing people with life
all these things are beautiful
there are things about GOD that i'll never understand
but everywhere i look, i see proof that GOD is in control
